Installation
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install tp-smapi-dkms hdapsd
$ echo 'tp_smapi' | sudo tee -a /etc/modules
$ echo 'hdapsd' | sudo tee -a /etc/modules
$ sudo modprobe tp_smapi
$ sudo /etc/init.d/hdapsd restart
Verify if it works
$ sudo hdapsd
it should display "parking" on console if you move your laptop
Modify config: /etc/default/hdapsd
- sensitivity: default is 15. higher value means less sensitive.
- disk: the disk that hdapsd should monitor
